Glasgow

I’m outta the loop on this. Heading out sun night and looking for recommendations for places that are open late, not too pricey, that would appeal/be welcoming to ages 20’s to 50’s

Can anyone help?

Think I've posted before but I always recommend Merchant city for that kind of thing. base yourselves round Merchant Square and there are loads of eating and drinking spots to suit all tastes within 100m.

Thank you. Should have maybe said in first post more looking towards down near finnieston kinda way? At least to start with we may migrate more towards city centre as the night goes on playing it by ear

Plenty of good pubs around finnieston because of the students tbh you’ll find most bars pretty decent

Am I not too old for them though? Don’t wanna stick out like a sore thumb that’s what I’m worried about, some deathly hush descending as I dare to enter!

There's loads of ages in most the student pubs. It's the nightclubs that are full of ones that look 12 you got to worry about haha

Honestly they'll probably be welcoming enough. The young ones are just assholes when they get a drink in them.

Way I judge it is looking at the lines.

Try lebowskis and the brass monkey, 100 yards apart, both on argyle street

Not many clubs down Finnieston way. Places like Lebowskis and Strip Joint always fairly upbeat though.
