is it just us, or is this odd!!!!

users block us but still reply to our posts? if you have blocked someone, surely that means you have no interest in them!!! so dont reply to that users posts!

they may have blocked you for a reason that is not one of dislike for you, they may recognise you, you may be local to them, you may be looking for something they are not.... people block for a million reasons

perhaps, but they replied directly to a nice question from us!!!! but have blocked us,,,,now, im not two faced but if ive blocked you here its because i dont want to communicate with you as i thought was the reason people blocked. i would not respond to a post by someone i have blocked, this is why im asking if its odd!!!

I don't see any harm in it as long as they ain't using the forums to have ago at the op in some way and keeping to the topic at hand and not trying to turn it into something else for their own gains x

Totally, i personally opt to block for a lovely variety of reasons.

One-way traffic - thats anyone looking me up but all at the same time its impossible to contact them (filtered out)

Damage prevention- my memory is'nt great and if messaged any that have made it clear they are in no way interested, block to prevent re-messaging.

Forum threads, if the subject is of interest, everyones free to comment?

i block people sometimes because they have winked at me, which means they havent read my profile, but it doesnt mean that i dont agree with what they are writing about.

We also block for the damage prevention reason.

To me - a forum post is in the public domain - hell google can find it - so any fabber can comment on it whether they have blocked you or vice versa.

It's just you.

People on here take the block system far too seriously.

I've blocked plenty of people simply because they are smokers or they are too tall or live too far away, that doesn't mean I won't help them on the forum, with an answer to a question.

simple,, a user name is being spoke to in chat, comnenting and we cant see the persons txt" sorry, not the answer you hoped for?
