I go to bed at 10.30 now instead of midnight. Mind you it's because I'm up 5.45am for work

That does sound crazy, I normally just wait till my renewal comes in , give it 24 hours and phone and tell them I've found the same cover for about £100 cheaper, it's like miracle because then my current insurer who is usually the cheapest anyways suddenly finds a miraculous discount that they can suddenly apply and what would you know it's about £100 cheaper than the original quote, my insurance has never gone up in about 8 years.
