I learned a while back, if you don't want peoples opinions then maybe don't post on the forum

And it always seems to be guys that can't get meets thinks fabs going downhill. Plenty of us meeting men that we find interesting.

I do agree fab has gone downhill and it's coming across that the ONLY way to meet people is big social events or clubs, it's wrong. Having said that guys don't help themselves by not having a good profile or decent pics so a lot of women won't respond.

I'm not looking so probably my reply wouldn't be accurate, the previous comments are called preferences. A lot or a good majority probably want to see body shots, not just dick..maybe a bit more on your bio.. again just my opinion.

The site is what you want it to be.

You put minimal effort in, you get minimal back. Males outnumber couples and ladies by a big ratio.

What makes you stand out? What gets you noticed? - for me, when I message it always has something relevant to the recipient’s profile, always personalised. Never ‘cut n paste’

Accept that on occasion you will be overlooked or deleted. It’s not personal, we each have individual taste.

I use artistic style photos, or witty (I think) tag lines to try and draw people to read my profile. Refreshing these draws the views and an occasional wink, sometimes a message.

Don’t scatter bomb, your time is as precious as the recipient. Are you mailing/winking to hit a law of average?

Anyhow that’s me climbing down from the righteous mountain via the soapbox!

I think that's just bad loser talk. Ask any couples that like the company of single men (and there are loads and they get plenty of meets as you can see by their veris) the biggest problem is time waster guys. Most of the time they can't accommodate and expect to get hosted as though getting a strange guy off fab back to your house is no big deal. They need wise up and get to clubs and socials before pestering couples and single females.

I’ve met some lovely guys recently at clubs and pre drinks socials and will hopefully be meeting them sometime in the future.

Sometimes it just takes one message for me to go off a guy. Are you sure you’re talking to women and not fake profiles?

From experience even when I agree to a social many don’t finalise the arrangements or some don’t do socials.

I feel like the socials are what work best tbh to start things off cause every time I have had a social it has lead on to a next meet but when it’s just a meet people pull out I just think a lot of single females are just curious about the site have a wee chat and then nothing happens in the Glasgow area anyway but I have had a fair few in the past just recently been pretty dead

Your profile doesn't jump out at me for a number of reasons...

1. Too many dick pics.

2. Profile gives nothing away.

3. You're too young for me.

4. I would want to see more pictures, not necessarily face, but more than dick.

5. You're not verified.

If you've been on the site for almost two years, you would have joined in the middle of COVID, where people weren't meeting, socials weren't happening and events were unable to go ahead. As such, you've been unfortunate in not getting to socialise as freely.

But, you get what you put into it. If you aren't taking care of your profile, aren't attending events to just socialise, aren't active on the forums or chat rooms, then I'm afraid nobody can change that for you, that's a YOU problem, not a Fab problem.

Your profile looks the same as all the other single guys profile on here, change it up abit, add in some more info into your bio, your likes? Your wants... etc etc, explain why you can't accommodate? That could put alot of females off, do you really need that many pics of your cock or is that all you have to offer any potential meet?

You need to stand out on here to try and get someone interested let alone find a meet so get yourself along to social events or clubs.

Defo it’s a good night and I often organise pre drinks I drive as I don’t drink so myself and others also happy to give folk a lift up

To cjs you should defo give it a try. Always better to meet people face to face as often people you talk to on here are as fake as they can be it’s better to meet folk and judge in person

Be careful who you trust especially when it’s folk who are always creating new profiles because they keep getting banned

tbh guys shouldn't be messaging anyone cold. Unless the profile asks for it or an advertised meet then don't make contact. Put a meet up with your availability and what you are looking for and leave it at that. Couples/girls will find you if they want to. It will also prevent all the prima-donna types (and there are plenty of them on here) posting on the forums how they are ssssooooooo tired of going through the hundreds of messages they didn't really want.
