With levein sacked who's the man you want to replace him and why ?

Souness for me, but he's not an sfa yes man so will go against him.

Also not managed a team for a while and seems content in his pundit roll.

Strachan is bookies favourite and big Jo nae teeth jordon in the mix as well.

My wife should do it. She hasn't a clue about football, but she could turn up in the changing room, fluff the guys before a game, handjob them to almost cumming at half time, with the offer of a blowjob each in the team-bath if they win! Results GALORE!lol

I am not fussed who gets the job so long as he is attack minded .

We now are out of this tourny so the next game of any meaning is 2014 so get someone in and prepared for the next tourney , Strachan is the big name favourite .but honestly what has he done , he managed Celtic had cash but elsewhere flopped .

For me Strachan is the man for it. The Tartan Army wouldn't take Sir Walter back after he left last time.

Sourness is a non-starter I think, Jordan and Collins don't have enough experience and just plain no to Dalglish.

Ever since time began the punters know who should be in starting eleven......all this pish about "he knows a good player" or "hes a good squad man" is a load of tosh....thats where Levien failed ...he was determined not to follow the punters instinct.

Who ever takes over all he needs to do is motivate the squad the punters are screaming for....end of story.

Im with you on that one m8 ,but as a Rangers fan I would like him to have a place back at Ibrox in some form.

He could possible do both but want to see a fully commited manager with purely Scotland on his mimd,

Strachan is his equal at National level so an obvious suggestion, but god knows who the SFA choose

please god not strachan,he makes me cringe every time he speaks to the press,he talks pish.

as for sounes,it's not possible to buy a good international team,so that's him out.

dalgleish,he would need joe jordan to make a come back,so he could play his long ball game.

we need some one,who just plays the best players, and gets them working hard.

oh and plays at least one up front.

we need some one who can at least make us play,to the full potential of our mediocrity.

I think Moyes should replace Sir Alex at Manchester United when the time comes.

The team spirit that was present when Walter Smith was manager had been lost-his team didn't have great players but the team was well organised and fought for each other. Maybe having McCoist in the back room staff helped that. Whoever takes over needs to make the team want to fight for each other, cos just now it seems like the players couldn't care less if they win or lose.

At some point in the future maybe Paul Lambert might be a good candidate.

Graeme Souness,, Kenny Dalglish and Joe Jordon - any one of them for me.

Souness has played and managed at the highest level - played for top clubs in England Scotland and Italy, and won European trophies. He has also maneged at the highest level in Scotland England and in Europe and won trophies. He won't take any bullshit, and is not a Yes man, so the SFA will not have him. One of these guys as the manager and the other two taking training etc would do for me!

How about Owen Coyle as a dark horse for the job.............

I don't rate Jordan as a manager,

Walter Smith is being woo'ed back to Ibrox.

Strachan is the bookies favourite but yes I agree with earlier poster his interviews have me hiding behind a couch, almost as bad as Lennon

Lambert maybe,

The list goes on............

The girl Fleeting that used to skipper the Scotland ladies team, is it Julie would make a good lady manager.

"sectarianism will only disappear when people stop banging on about it at every opportunity"

Sectarianism will only disappear when people see it as a 2 way street and not a weapon in a propaganda war.

SFA we are led to believe are sectarian for not having a RC national team manager yet the best example I have ever senn is Glasgow saw a run of 10 consecutive RC Lord provosts over a 30 years period.

If you assume the catholic population of Glasgow is around 25% there is a 1 in 4 chance you would elect an RC.

To elect 10 in a row at odds of 4/1 the odds are 9,765,625 / 1

That's right, almost 10 million to one.

Co-incidence or institutionalised sectarianism?

Two way street and certainly not worth arguing over.

Glasgow really is one crazy mixed up place

We have a system where two kids born in the same ward in the same hospital on the same day living on the same landing up the same close in the same street in the same part of Glasgow who attend the same ante-natal clinic and ........ you know how the story progresses .......

They may even have the same father, play together quite happily until the age of 5 at which point they're sent to different schools and people wonder why they spend the rest of their lives hating each other.
