How hard did you find it getting to know the right people to start chatting to as it has been a minefield for us lol

I guess its just the same in real life, you talk to people and get that feeling... of trust and nice... or errr not my cup of tea.... treat this site as you would normal people in everyday life ...you can always say no thankyou nicely.

Beginning to learn to trust our instincts if it does not deem right a gentle thanks but no thanks does for most but some can just be plain rude but ad you say that is life

It is just the same as being in a pub and some one or couple chatting to you.. you either engage and enjoy or cut the conversation short and sit away, same principle applies, just be polite but dont be afraid to say no thanks .

I've been on for about 3 months and find it really hard just to chat the amount of messages I have sent and virtually all get ignored completely,I don't abuse,be cheeky or be rude or crude but still most of my messages never get replied to.

To be honest 99% of single male messages get binned just to many to reply to and the 1% my wife has read before i get to delete them some people don't read profiles before sending a pm

Finding out the talkers are taking over the doers..

When we 1st joined it was more fun no nastiness and less timewasters

Wife does not want to block single males she does like a look now and again

You can have your cake and eat it so to speak. Plenty profiles come up when searching people looking for single guys but have single guys blocked

I feel that im becoming really stand-offish with people private messaging me at firs. it comes off as quite rude admittedly but the amount of idiots on this thing is a real time sink and I've yet to figure out how to sort them out!

its hard enough approaching this site as a single guy without batting those fools off.

I should get a girl.

Chat and forums all have regulars. You still get nice people and the odd one that you don't like. Just like real life. As simple as I can put it lol.
