Used to love going cycling, would spend hours in a saddle, the freedom of the air in your face long before cyclist became the bain off every other road user. Would put me off cycling now in case I’m attacked for no reason.

I normally stay away from roads and pavements and use the trails round the local lochs and parks that are there for bikes not too keen on hogging the road and pissing off the traffic

Love a good cycle. During lockdown I cycles along the canals in and around Falkirk. Now that I have moved even closer to the canal, I definitely need to get my bike out of storage . Being from the Netherlands, the lack of bicycle lanes here is shocking but also understandable with all those hills

Clackmannanshire & Fife has some good cycle routes depending on which direction your wanting to head.

I’ve used ones all round here and the Roads are decent to ride on as well.

You should look into an E bike great for the hills and you can enjoy the cycle on flat ground

Would PM you with more of the details about them but I’m outside your profile limits.

Happy to pass on the info if you get in touch.

A cycle buddy in southside of glasgow would be good. Bit of encouragement to get out on the bike. Cycle a few miles, coffee somewhere n head hone. Anything else a bonus.

Glasgow

I got back into MTB last year but haven't really been out much lately. Nothing more fun than flying around a trail centre like GT or even the forestry places like Carron Valley. Definitely need to get out more this summer though!
