nae danger.

Using pictures from years ago as profile picture and not even providing an upto date one or stating your pic was from years ago before a meet. What's everyone's opinions on this ?

I have pics on here from when I first joined and ones as recent as a few days ago .

My reason I have older pics is simply because I like them , I’d always send my most recent face pic tho if planning to meet someone

I’ve met guys in the past who had pics up but on meeting the pics were obviously from at least 20 years ago, and time hadn’t been kind to them. Update your pics guys, no one including you likes a nasty surprise

I had a message from a guy who was late 40s. Sent a pic of him aged 20 on holiday. Asked him for a more recent pic...he says it's fine I've no changed much.

Great to get a bit feedback seems like you lassies get it more than us guys with the profiles with years old photos i just don't get why people don't upload at least 1 from the year were currently in let people see how they look now I mean it's great people had more confidence in appearance when younger but people ain't meeting that younger version of them it's just common respect be like oh that photos way old here's a fresh one of me if chats going well I don't see this being totally a end game x

All my photos are recent. Guess I got better with age plus I change my looks so often best way to show what they are getting now lol

Same here definitely got better with age likes. Can't imagine many people wanting see me from years and years ago a plukey chav who never took a cap of his head lol yeah age was definitely good to me

We tend to keep ours pretty recent.

On others, if we look at a profile that hasn't uploaded a pic in over a year it's unlikely we will message them. Tiny step we tend to take to try minimise the couples profiles who are really single men now.

I upload pics fairly regularly, don't think there's any harm in some older pics on your profile as long as there are recent ones too.

We love swapping our pics around so there fresh for us and you fab people to enjoy, we’ve pics that have been taken over a year ago on here but we like them……..I think the best mix Is old and new. Never stop taking them

Never gave it any thought TBH , they are entitled to use whatever pics they want I guess, just as its your choice to ask for a more recent pic or scroll on past.

I have an old profile pic because people like it. I have more recent pics on my profile. When I’ve changed my profile pic I’ve been asked to keep the old one.

Guys are hopeless for updating pics or having out of focus or tiny face pics.

We’re not that into taking pics and sometimes don’t get the time or opportunity to take them with kids around. Also if we are taking pics we are careful not to show parts of our house just in csse. For those reasons our pics are from rare hotel visits pre Covid.

We would rather meet people for a social. If they’re roughly like their pics then no problem. We now don’t often send face pics and prefer a blind social so everyone can decide if they fancy each other by taking an hour to meet in person.

So we don’t pay too much attention to pics

As long as they have recent photos also or at least send privatley, and look like there photos on meeting socially not a problem.

I don’t think that using old photos on here is a problem.

But I think if anyone is arranging a meet then both parties should send an up to date face and body pic prior to Meet

But when sending a face pic, it needs to be recent or it's misleading. I've had it before, where they obviously sent a VERY old photo. It puts me off the meet instantly, because they obviously know they've deliberately misled me. I would rather they were honest and sent what they look like now, but the deliberate attempt to deceive me puts me right off xx
