When you speak to someone / some people and you send your photos, there’s always a chance you’ll be recognised.

What you have to hope for is that you get someone who’ll say they know you and that they’ll not say anything.

Also been at numerous parties where I’ve been recognised

Yip been recognised a few times .. by an old friend (just a friend) .. by 2 exs and an old disco winch and by general acquaintances.. the way I look at it is were all on here for one reason or another .. but in saying that I've been quite lucky they've told me who they are and not played silly games trying to freak me out .

Recognised a lad I went to school with wife acting as a single, a lad I work with who’s married and finally a lassie on linked in as we share the same industry interests

We bumped into one of Angels mae school friends at cj's was a very awkward night until they actually spoke. Turned out alright in the end Angel ended up becoming friends with his partner that night. Now they have split she plays/played with her. In fact she will be in our bed very soon.

Also got recognised, I think, as the other person was able to give my full name and where I lived without me knowing who or where they were, other than nearby,

I’ve never been recognised by someone who knows me, but I once went down to my local for a glass of wine and later on got a message from a fab account asking if I’d just been at X&Y pub. I was pretty amazed I got recognised as I don’t have any face pictures on here!? now I have eyes in the back of my head in a weird way I’d love if someone I knew found me on here, I don’t think anyone in my real life would ever suspect I’d be up to such things!

That’s crap one of the reasons I don’t have pics on my profile tbh the only way folk are going to know who I am is to meet in person, they may have an idea it’s me but nothing to prove it or tie me with the site, personally I’d have fought your employer for u fair dismissal tbh

I was self-employed unfortunately. I’ve only ever seen one person on here I knew from real life thankfully and Adam has seen one person he knows. They didn’t know and we blocked them to save any future interactions trust may have occurred.

Been recognised a few times and recognised a few others. Mostly been totally cool about everything, usually had a bit of a flirt and then kind of left each other to our own devices.

Ages ago though someone came into what is now my old work, recognised me and demanded I have them a bunch of free stuff or they were going to “out” me for being on fab. Told them to leave, it got really weird, they started sending me messages with the names of all my siblings etc and saying they were going to message them screenshots. Admittedly I don’t think any of my family or friends would be bothered at all that I was on here but it’s a complete invasion of privacy and I doubt they want to see pictures of my banger, so had to get admins involved and stuff

Too many pic collectors on here. And a laughable number of non verified accounts demanding face pics before they will chat. If you fall for that then sympathy is limited.

However, I've also heard that people's private pics have been shared round Kik groups without their knowledge or consent.

Be careful who you share pics with if you are worried about discretion.

I messaged a woman last year and explained I was looking to play one on one with a woman with permission from hubby. She replied back by saying...omg is that you Naomi? I hadn't a clue who this woman was to start with obv but she knew me because our faces are public..turned put to be one of my very old best friends from years ago...lol..but to be honest I wasn't all the embarrassed by it..the way I see it is she had no place to judge because she is on here to.

Yes kinda hard to not be noticed thus no face pics. Had a guy grab my ass and try to hold onto my waist in Tesco said he saw me on fab... I acted shocked and he immediately apologized came home to an inbox asking if I was in Tesco earlier..
