New to the Forums and relatively new to FS. I've sent some nice, clean ice breaker messages but struggling to get replies or keep converstaions going anywhere. Am I just out of touch or is it that females on here are inundated? I'm looking for casual meets not to get to know people too well but want to be able to converse first. Any tips appreciated!

Thanks point taken there. I have friend only pictures too but get why the dick pics might put women off. So if not comfortable with a public face pic stright away then even a clothed pic of body or not the D? Ok

Theres enough arseholes on here that plenty of people will blank even your best intentioned messages.

Have nice pics, non dick. Put something on your profile. Try the chat and forums. Try meets.

The better people know you the more have a chance to like you.

Expect rejection, lot of timewasters and entitled angry bastards have made the experience on here bad for a lot of people.

Had a social meet today. Had been talking for a while and over the weekend. Sent a message when I left 45 mins before, and was told they thought I wasnt going to show up cause I hadn't messaged today.

People expect no shows. Fucking ridiculous that people piss folk about like that.

I’ve not been on Fab that long really but have found since posting on the forum I’ve had a hell of a lot more people wanting to chat in my messages.

I’d get involved on here and take it from there mate.

If your getting replies and not able to continue conversations then you need to look at that or try to perhaps get a contact number early on and let your personality show that way . No easy fix if your struggling to hold the conversation though.

I have a rule where I don't message any more than 10 messages or so before it either goes to telephone chat or bin it as possible fake.

Lots of women don't want to give out a contact number though.

I’ve had 4 bans in the last week or so.

Maybe I should be nicer and ask things like “How’s you?” now and again.

Definitely not a dobber I do ask how they are doing then a compliment on their photos or ask about their profile (always read the profile) description if similar interests or anything intriguing. Taken advice on the profile photo and greatful for the other tips. First time on the forums today

And to the OP, when I joined I found a group social being the best way to start off, you get to know the “community” and can start to relax and your personality will come through in your chat. I’ve been away from fab for a while but back again to chat and have some fun on and offline
