Any recommendations on places to eat, drink or hidden gems to visit?

Thanks

Lanarkshire

I always enjoy a good browse and rummage in Vinyl Villains in Elm Row. Elvis Shakespeare is also a worthy visit further down Leith Walk.

Fochabers

How long are you in Edinburgh for ?

At the weekend the Pitt in Edinburgh is great food Market some nice wine and beer too.

During the week One Cannonmills is nice, if you like gin there is 56 North or Heads and Tails.

Cocktails Panada and Sons is nice.

Bread meats bread is great if you like burgers and poutine but be warned it is filling.

For things to do; I really like Calton hill for a wee walk nice views of the city up there. Also all the museums and galleries are grand. The Cat café Maison De Moggy just off grassmarket is great

I am not a local but I love the hidden bar on Hanover St, Hoot The Redeemer.

If you like cocktails, alcoholic ice cream, and a quirky vibe then have a look. If you Google the name they have pictures of the doorway so it's easier to spot

In the west.

There is an Italian cafe at the top of Leith Walk, I could sit there all day watching the world go by.

It's a tall stool so your long legs don't get bashed on a table.
