"Anything or anyone fun in Aberfeldy. I got 10 days to kill" Schiehallion is nearby. That’ll use one of your days. Amazing views!

"Take the A826 road from the Birks of Aberfeldy to Amulree then take a right down Glen Quaich. At the far end (after Loch Freuchie) the road starts to rise again around Pitmackie Farm road end. It becomes single track (with passing places) and a little steep for a few hundred yards. Once you top at A' Chrois just pull over and look North. You'll know why I suggested this. Do it on a bright clear day. But do it! Then when you feel like it continue on down to Kenmore and back the six miles to Aberfeldy. Total time - less than 2 hours. But you will want to stay at the top at A' Chrois for a long time. Take some sangwidges and scoosh. Let me know if you've done it. " Agree this is a great wee road with stunning views. There are often gates to deal with, make sure you leave them as you find them! There are some nice wee places to eat in Kenmore. If you fancy it there are Highland safari boat trips on the Loch which are good. In Aberfeldy itself the walk up the Birks is beautiful. The distillery does tours with a dram or two to enjoy! A few decent eateries in the town and some decent pubs. K
