Cjs Pre Drinks 5th March

the land of unicorns and fairytales

Soooooo I’ll be organising Pre Drinks again on the 5th

It will be another city centre venue from 6-9pm

There is a telegram group chat full of fabbers who have been to previous Pre Drinks and many of them were themselves newbies a few weeks ago and already enjoying the banter in the chat and making new friends

Feel free to send your telegram username for an invite, comment here on the post or send me a wee PM nearer the time for the finer details

So the pre drinks venue isn’t able to offer food at the moment however they are pretty good at letting folk bring in food, there’s a good pizza place next door and a few other good places nearby, hopefully the kitchen will be open again soon x x

Tables are booked from 6-9pm

CJ's and the people at it are always warm and welcoming.

But going along to something like this, will give you a chance to speak to some people in a more neutral location, so you'd not be going into CJ's a full stranger.

Although I've not met her yet, we have chatted loads and NSV is lovely, and I'm sure she'll help you to settle in. If she's not able to make it, then someone else will be there to reassure you.

Yeah coming along to pre drinks is a bit more “normalised” it’s in a public place gives you a chance to sit and chat with others and everyone heads up in groups often plenty of car drivers, and means when you’re in cjs if you do feel intimidated there should be familiar faces from the social to go and chat to. The pre drinks generally get a good response from newbies
