Really random, so recently when on a night out my mate told me that him and his wife were swingers and were on this site. Now I’ve always had a thing for his wife (she is absolutely gorgeous) but I’m wondering if this was a hint from him that he wants to welcome me in to the bedroom with them both? What would you do in this situation? Would you just straight out ask them or wait for them to ask you? How important is the friendship? Worth messing up if things get complicated or jealousies arise.

Totally! That’s the dilemma I’m having. I don’t want to sabotage our friendship over a shag or saying something to them that doesn’t sit well and makes both parties uncomfortable. As for friendships go, we have all known each other for years and nothing has materialised so if it was too I guess something would have happened by now.

It could well be that it's the start of a fantastic extra caricular fredship of the freindship & there's nothing to say it would turn pear shaped. You could just have one great night and know it just a one off - anything can happen, but if for one second you think it would muck up your friendship then there's plenty other folk you could be joining!!!!!!! It could be that even mentioning it to the lady will fuck up everything so it's a real quandary!!!

So we actually told my mate and his wife a couple of years ago but we never had any intentions to shag them, it came about due to something we said during a meal out and my best man mate sussed something was going on. We knew they wouldn't judge or give a fuck as it was our business what we do privately. Anyway , had my mate asked me if he or they could take a very very long friendship onto another level shall we say I most certainly wouldn't have been offended nor would it have jeopardised the friendship. They would have simply been told not our type or never play close to home or something to the effect. So my advice mate is simple , ask him why they told you , feel free to gauge the answer but I'd be asking about joining them one night if that's what you want, they can only say no. If they take the huff at you asking then I don't believe it's a true friendship as what did they expect when telling you in the first place.

thanks for the advice! They are both flirty by nature but it’s also risky. I think I’ll try and lay in some subtitle hints to them both and see what they say

First and imo best reply to the OP.

If you have been mates for a long time, and you cherish the friendship then if it was me, I'd patch it. Could very easily fuck alot of good things up.

On the other hand, if just a friendship that's easy ossie and you're not that bothered if you are mates or no then bring it up I'd say, he brought it up in the first place.
