Why do timewasters do it

Morning all. Just felt I wanted to write this down. Not seeking sympathy. Lol.

So, a single guy - well verified - messaged me to meet him and his gf. We arrange time and place on Wednesday. It’s a 7 mile taxi journey for me to no avail. Hung around for 20 minutes. I’ve messaged him a couple of times but, although he’s been on frequently, he hasn’t even read them.

Why do they do it? Wonder if he was watching and laughing? Ah well. An afternoon in the pub instead. Not a totally wasted day. Have a fun weekend all. Take care.

Could have been worse. Can you imagine being confronted with some poor woman who clearly didn't want to have sex and her partner was bullying her into it. Plenty of stories about that scenario on here.

Could well be a possibility. Scary to know that happens!

Of course, he should have called off if he knew on time. Or apologised if she told him off too late to cancel. No worries, though. Haven’t lost sleep and had a couple of hours in the pub. Taxi fare down, mind you. Lol.

Sorry it happened but hopefully it's a lesson learned for others who read it, especially as there's huge flashing red flags in the fact its a single male profile offering up a woman, surely a genuine couple would have a couples profile!

Chalk it to experience and don't let it get you down xx

Absolutely. As I say, I’m too auld to be fasched these days. He has a number of good veris including a recent from a couple so I thought it was ok.
