Verification Requests

Let's talk verifications...

Are you bothered about getting them?

Do you ask to be verified?

If so do you mention in advance of the meet so they leave it after?

Or do you message after the meet like ebay feedback haha?

Do you ask if OK before you leave a verification for others or do it every time anyway?

For me I'd like more verifications but the nature of the majority of my meets means I don't want to freak a guy out by asking in advance or expect him to want me to message him after, so can't request. I'm a balls in their court after balls in my mouth kinda guy. Which is frustrating but is what it is.

I’m happy to leave verifications for people I’ve met socially and for fun. What I don’t like is being asked months or years after meeting for a verification because they left and came back.

I usually would ask if they want one first (veri)

But if they decide to leave one, I'll usually do one back..

Not keen on graphic or "don't pass him by" ones

If someone mentioned in advance about verifying before meeting I'd think he's just after a verification.

Why do you want more verifications?

That's a lovely balance. I would love to be in the place to say "hey do you want one" but yeah it is tricky. You seam to have it spot on.

Some can be quite explicit but it can be hard knowing what tone to take. Imagine if we wrote them like ebay feedback haha.

We usually send a verification and then it is up the the people we meet whether they want to display it or not. We don't display ours, just the summary to show we are still active

You could just verify each other and then it's upto the person if they want to show them or not.

I'm not fussed about getting verifications but I always ask if they want one after a meet.

I can take them or leave them tbh.

I’m not a fan of the continual verifications from the same person every time they meet kinda thing.

I used to not show mine as I found some people can be pass remarkable or judgemental and I still don’t show all of them or my summary for that same reason. However people can do what they wish it’s their profile after all and their choice which I fully respect. As many folk say, keep it fun… it should be

I don’t mind leaving someone a verification and it’s sometimes quite nice when they leave one after a meet with me but I tend to keep the content private on my side

We never ask for a verification and if it is a meet in a club we say we have never heard of fab.

For meets from here we ask that they don't give us one and we will not give one either.

We have been asked on here by people we have never met that they will verify us if we verify them. We block them.

What we do is for us, not for anyone else.

A few people have said that we are fakes because we do not have verifications. That is there problem, not ours.

Veris are love, hate

It's nice to leave veris on someone that doesn't have much cause I feel it can help them along the way. If people have too many veris it puts me off a little. But then Where's the fine line I suppose. Always return the favour, get a little annoyed when people ask for one after meeting and don't return the favour!

You don't want to be cheeky and ask for a veri. I personally wouldn't ask for one but I might verify someone depending on the content of the meet, how it went etc. Explicit stays hidden, that's private. If a guy verified me anyway and asked why I didn't show it, I would just say that I don't really show them. It doesn't have to be a show and tell x
