Hey fabbers,

So, how did you start on here?

Been on a few months and not much had turned into anything and I’m wondering if it’s me(let’s be honest, it probably is )

Any tips for us new/shy people?

A friend introduced me to Fab.

It’s very different for single guys here than it is for single females or couples. There’s 1000s of single males so you have to work pretty hard to catch the eye of a profile you’re interested in.

There’s quite a few threads from new profiles asking for advice. Have a scan of those to see what advice has been offered.

But personally looking at your profile it wouldn’t spark my interest. You could do with a bit more info in your bio. What exactly are you looking for? What sparks your interest?

Also, you could add some more interesting photos but avoid multiple dick pics.

Check out some other profiles to see what they’re like.

Obviously this is just my opinion and I’m sure others may offer different / better advice to offer.

I was on a dating site that I wasnt feeling as I didn't actually want a relationship adn was just looking for fun and as fate would have it a random guy "recognised" me as a fellow fabber so curiosity got the better of me and within my first week of joining I had a few meets and the rest is history

I just started sending messages and got a reply from my second - it was a pleasant surprise and worked out well! It's just pot luck really, you could send 100s and get nothing or a couple and stroke gold. As for how I arrived here, I was discussing joining shite dating sites and someone at work told me he thought I'd be more suited to FAB - I'd never even heard of it, but my god, I'm so glad I signed up!!!!

I was approached on dating site by a couple. In conversation with them, and subsequent threesome, I signed up to a competitor site. Which was crap. So a couple of years later I signed up on here.

FWIW, you need time, patience, common courtesy and respect, and ability to flirt...

We are a couple looking for a bi guy. We get loads of messages every day.

Here is what we find.

Lots of them can't hold a conversation. (We like chatting before a social meet before anything happens)

Lots don't put up a profile picture. (We don't do blind dating. We need to fancy a guy if we are going to be having sex with them)

Too many message us because they are in the area and passing through in the middle of the day and think we are going to be satisfying their urges with a hasty meet.

Too many guys say that they are bi when they are not. They just want the female half of us.

Too many guys are married and only wanting to meet in the day during the week. (We don't care if you are married or not but daytime, mid week is usually when we are working etc)

We will have a 'vanilla' conversation with anyone who is polite, however we are not always wanting sexy chat. Sometimes, but not always.

Pictures of your dick (nice to see) are not the only thing we want to see.

We are looking for a friend with occasional benefits not to be used by a guy just because he is horny.

This is not just for you (the op) but all the guys out there.

Yeh, I was on that site as well the site for Adults only and you Find Friends on it. That was 15ys ago. But it's a rubbish site now.

The lack of a fanny means you are automatically disadvantaged.

Gab on here. Try not to be too much of a knob. Try to get to socials so folk can see you're relatively normal.

I'd been on a different site with similar outcomes as this site. Then djsckby chance, Fab around 9 years ago. Been on and off around 4 times, first 2 times I hadn't gotten verified, nor met up with anyone but enjoyed the forums. Came off whenever I was in a relationship.

Been on here last 4 years (after a 6yr relationship) being more proactive, met some lovely fellas on line and in person and some no-so-lovely fellas. I enjoy the forums and actually participate in them.
