Have a quick brunch and coffee.

Box up the decorations and tree (already placed aside last night) and put away.

Tidy away the vinyl I had playing until 4 am ish (party for 1).

Tidy away the whisky bottle (party for 1).

Shower, dress and then start preparing the dinner as got kids round for dinner (hopefully).

My gran always said it was bad luck to do with death lol and myself and a colleague were talking about it the other day and googled it, and yeah seemingly its one of the old wives tales about new year lol
