Anyone else have an issue with being ghosted? I've been ghosted 3 times on here... worst thing ever, if you dont want to meet just say haha. Last one few months ago, I drove for an hour and half sorted a hotel and reserved a table and drinks and was there on my tod.

Yeah man it happens, I know the driving one was a bastard but just use it as the learning experience. You learn to spot the fakes and such like a mile off.

Yeah definitely, we had been talking for weeks etc everything was going great got the old I'm on my way won't be long etc then boom I'm blocked haha.

Just set yourself some new boundaries then. Only meet folk with half hour distance, nae fannying aboot talking for weeks.

London - till 25th

Went to one meet, through another site.

Turned up, pressed door entry system. Was met with torrent of verbal abuse.

Left.

From then on, all initial meets are now at a club.

It's a shit thing to happen but when you say talk , do you mean text or phone calls. ? Did you have her number .?

People can still use a pay as you go phone for Fab, etc. No guarantees that it’s their main phone.

Oh it happens to us too. Even when you have their number, have spoken on the phone. Thankfully I’ve never left the house for a social … I’ve always had the spidey sense and check before I leave. It must have happened to me at least half a dozen times and people wonder why single men get a bad name. I honestly think half of them weren’t single though and they bottled it at the thought of actually meeting

I know that's the general rule but it's not what we have found. We've met 2 unverified guys, both turned up and were great meets.

The 1 guy with a heap of very good veris never showed up and just blanked us.

We always try and do a fem to fem phone call within a week and if no happy with that we just move on to thers who are happy to do so . Shit for the OP but a learning Curve people need to be more ( pellucid )
