I absolutely love Scotland and a couple of months ago spent a week on the West Coast and Skye.

I saw a post on FB that showed a new years eve torchlight procession through the town it looked amazing but I can't find the post now, does it happen in many towns or one in particular?

Aberdeenshire

There's a torchlight procession as part of Edinburgh hogmanay celebrations, 30th I think.

Stonehaven fireballs cancelled as are a few others

Thanks for your answers everyone.

I was going to do the NC500 this year but only had a week, but it's on the agenda for 2022 Covid permitting.

Looks like New year is out though

Edinburgh has a big one in the run up to Xmas. The other afirementioned ones in Stonehaven and Burghead are New Year events.
