Pre-Christmas Isolation Avoiding Game

How is everyone dealing with not wanting to catch covid or come in close contact so you would have to isolate over Christmas, while still being as wildly horny as always?

Are you still meeting? Waiting till after Christmas for meets? Doing outside meets? Getting hotel rooms across the road from each other and leaving the curtains open?

Christmas has no impact on my desire to avoid covid, having been in hospital with it 18 months ago I want to avoid it at any time of year.

Christmas is a pile of pish anyway

I’m having to isolate just now which is a pain in the arse as I don’t have it but it is what it is.

I can understand why people choose to isolate and why others don’t with Christmas round the corner and the new variant running riot, everyone has their own reasons.

I cancelled a social meet because i can't afford to take the risk because of vulnerable family members..

Seeing family is no big deal but catching it and isolation is a bummer. I decided not to visit sauna today as it’s a bit risky , but other things I do have all been cancelled for rest of this year

I'm not isolating. I'm going out with friends tomorrow and if the right person wanted to meet I would if I had time

I’ve altered my plans this evening to reduce the chance of subjecting myself to covid. Currently, I will play but only with people I know and trust.

I have elderly parents who I’d like to keep safe.

Personally I was going to be having a quiet Christmas at home anyway just me and the kids, a first in 19years i haven’t fed the masses cause these days nobody loves me and everybody hates me

Unfortunately my plans of a great weekend have been scuppered but the truth is it’s here and it’s here to stay, if I had incredibly elderly or vulnerable family members I would have been seeing I’d have been limiting my contact, but then I’m immune suppressed and just had cancer ! For me this year has proven life is too short not to live it for me but I still respect other folks wishes to put themselves in bubbles dont let other folk dull your sparkle !

For me I have been trying to limit going places and have been quieter than normal for 2 reasons... I have a parent that is in the high risk category but also I have a wee boy who loves the magic of Christmas and that all the family is together and I wouldn't want to jeopardise that. My time can wait until after the 25th x

I’m jabbed to the max and work in a carefully controlled environment but I’ve tested +ve today so that’s our plans scuppered .

Anyone who’s out and about is at high risk just now.

No cup final for me tomorrow

Isolation is easy for me this year as this is my first Xmas on my own after losing my mum and having next to no family left

Respect to you for what you're going through. my mum had cancer too and it ultimately contributed to her health going down hill and having met you at an xmas social one year know that you definitely aren't one to let it get you down

We all make our choices but if this virus shows us anything it’s how important human contact is. Some brave stories up there, be kind to each other people, Tis the season

I've not been avoiding going to public spaces or isolating from people and have had meets.

For me it's a personal choice as it isn't gonna just go away, but I respect that some might wanna protect others

I tested positive so currently self isolating with the 10th day being xmas day. First time I am going to be spending xmas day on my own, but going to make up for it on boxing day!
