long story short I am in my 2nd long term relationship each that have had some experience of "Swinging" both in very different ways. I believe most get into the scene for selfish reason IE i want a threesome FFM then find out that there more chance if seeing a unicorn? If your partner wants to fuck someone but is a bit "unsure" about u fucking someone then dont even entertain the idea

Swinging means different things to different people. There are those that get it mixed up with polyamorous although it can be 2 sides of the same coinat times

I thought it was going back and forth sitting on a generally a plank of wood suspended by a left and right rope. This is attached to a frame that lets the ropes hang vertical without any outside force acting upon them.

I could be wrong though.

My understanding is that it is/was all about swapping partners, whether the 'keys in a bowl' scenario took place I wouldn't know.

My 2 FWBs were exclusive type relationshios.

I don't know what the breakdown is, but I'd hazard a guess that NSA sex between singles is a significant percentage.

Look to Europe for the answer on this. Their success is rooted in the philosophy that swinging does not involve single people at all. It is largely couples playing together.

Online amstuer porn has massively caused divergence of the scene in many different directions I guess...

But you get terms such as unicorns and bulls in the swinging community. Singles are very much classed as swingers when playing with couples

For myself it's just like the comments above means different things to different people.

Some of the best nights out I have had at "clubs" have been just sitting chatting with like minded non judgemental people.

Swinging is not all about having sexy fun it's a lifestyle choice and a great way to meet people that you would not have met before.
