I know, I know.. it's November (I'm sorry) but I'm excited for this! Plus we all know how busy December diaries can get.

So who else is going? What is everyone wearing?

Are you hoping for some special kisses under the strategically placed mistletoe?

Health permitting I'll be there. Have booked in, and so looking forward to a proper night out.

My last time out was the Fun For All Christmas Party in 2019, so it's basically been a year.

I've got most of my outfit from Long Tall Sally, and a backup gold and black dress from elsewhere.

I'll be hard to miss as the tall TV with ginger hair - Probably setting the bar at 6'8" if I go ahead with the heels I'm planning to wear.

Don't expect anything. Just think of it as a night out on your own at a lively pub.

Search the threads and you'll find loads of advice about attending.

Generally though, just be sociable, don't get too d*unk (It's a BYOB place) and don't be a sex-pest lol

If you click with someone, then that's what upstairs is for. You should also get a tour on your first visit, but if they're busy, they might rely on a regular to do it.

I thought I was the only one that got indecisive about outfits.

The thing with me, is I always end up going back to my initial one. It's the backup one that I'm undecided upon right now.

If you're still not sure, check Nasty Gal as there's some nice and good quality stuff there. Also the usual suspects like Pretty Little Thing, Boo Hoo, ASOS, Missguided and Miss Pap.

There are now at least 2 places. Given the covid situation and having vulnerable relatives to consider we have decided reluctantly to cancel our plans to attend.

I'm sure they said it was full for single males on the 18th, but with the current recommendations and the worry associated with it, they may be spaces now.

Because of the worry, my work Christmas Party went down in attendance from approximately 80 to about 30-odd.
