Block us but why be rude

I perfectly understand people blocking us.

There are many reasons to block someone but why be rude about it.

I have lost count of the times we have said that we are not right for someone and they have sent expletives and derogatory comments and blocked us.

We look at it as a lucky escape.

Having said that some of the nicest people we have actually met were ones they or we said no to in the beginning. Because they showed dignity and true character in the way they or we accepted it we spoke further.

We just don't understand those who take it so personally and to be honest we are glad they block us.

Best to preemptively block folks you don't think you're a match with. Saves the abuse.

We've blocked many nice folks too, just that we know we're not a match with them. Helps find what were really looking for. It takes a lot of work though!

Many folk just can't handle rejection.

There's never been a instance in my life when someone has hurled abuse at me, insulted my appearance, slagged off my sexuality and called me promiscuous and I've then turned round and thought...."No whit...think I will pump you after all you silver tongue devil."

Fuck 'em....or not in this case.

If folk are not mature enough to take rejection they are not mature enough to be on a sex site.

Sadly that type of response to a polite no thanks is not uncommon on Fab.

Anyone who has been on the site for any length of time will have encountered it.

We tend to feel that we have dodged a bullet.

We also ensure that we notify all our friends on the scene are warned about the person's attitude.

Guys also get rude responses at times for no reason when a simple no or just delete the email would be fine. I guess because its because people can be rude they are at times. It's sad all to common.

"Best to preemptively block folks you don't think you're a match with. Saves the abuse "

Absolutely this.

Polite rejection and statement to say you will block them so there is no messages sent by you in error. Instant block straight after message is sent.

Delete and move on..

Don't even give it a second thought.

I tried to reply with a polite no thanks to all messages but the abuse you get back isn’t worth it. So fuck that approach now! I just don’t reply and hope it’s taken as a gentle hint.

Mmm I always write even if it’s a “no thanks” in messages…

Sorry but it takes about 5 seconds to write that and a person should get the idea…

Still continue mailing ok block them if not polite

Just my tuppence worth

I simply can't be bothered a lot of the time. If that makes me rude, so be it. I can live with that. If I nip on here for a quick 5 min nosey with a cuppa, I don't want to spend those 5 mins writing "no thanks" 15 times. And yes, I know I can set my filters to block out certain folk but I haven't. Very occasionally, an unexpected message has resulted in some fun, so I keep the messages open for that.

Ok I sent a wink and didn’t get a response so assumed no interest, that’s why I didn’t send a message ??

Point is if someone takes the trouble to mail with a polite message a polite response shouldn’t be an issue?

Anyways no need to get into an argument as I see your side as well Miss Muff ????

Exactly this I'd rather use my time chatting to those I'm interested in than wasting time replying to people I'm not

I reply with a polite no thanks. It only takes a second to reply to someone. The only time I won't reply is if a guy has sent me a crude first message, then they just get an instant block x

Because the thread is about being rude, you yourself agree it's being rude to ignore a polite message so my point is just highlighting hypocrisy.

As said to by NMD, if you have no interest in ever meeting the messager then as already said , it takes less than 5 seconds to send a copy n paste no thx message then block the person to prevent abuse or repeat messages. Will maintain my stance , it is simply rude cnuts that ignore any polite message.

Unfortunately it's human nature. These sites attract an assorted bunch and Unfortunately they're here for the wrong reason judging by what most and my wife have experienced they're here to stay. But thankfully most cab spot them or they give themselves away.
