Stupid question but why does it need to be discreet? Loads of guys buy their partners underwear as gifts so you wouldn't raise any eyebrows buying stuff in the likes of M&S...as long as you weren't trying it on!

It's the distinct lack of fanny batter and the presence of baby batter on the skids in M&S that I'm concerned about!

That's awfully young, but better early than late on this one I'd say

Get yourself along to Ann Summers. The shop assistants are very helpful and every time I’ve been in there’s always been a couple of guys mooching about.

My trans friend buys hers from the supermarket usually. Take your measurements so you know what size to get.

Why not get a female friend or TV to go with you?

I shop for all my own lingerie in M&S, Ann Summers, Primark and Debenhams when it was still open.

I've never had an issue when asking for sizes or even trying things on...if trying things on in M&S just take the things you want to try to the male changing rooms. In Ann Summers the assistant are very helpful even suggesting things to try.

Happy shopping if you have the nerve xxx

I used to get nervous about this, but I came to realise that most think I'm buying for my GF even if they don't who cares what a shop assistant thinks. Now I ask if they think this is the correct size for me. Once you get over the feeling of embarrassment you realise other people have more pressing things in their own lives than to worry about what your doing xxx take care

Mummy knows best here.

But sound advice, if you don’t know your size there’s plenty of guidance on line how to measure yourself.

As for the shops, I wouldn’t worry in the slightest. The shops are there to sell, you are there to buy. The assistants are genuinely there to help, and have seen it all before.

If you need a hand I was planning on going to McCarther glen soon, I need to restock on makeup and it’s just up the road from you.

Yeah I was thinking the same, we're assuming he's looking for ladies underwear but could be he's been told he needs to buy his own to go with his big boy trousers
