Yes - and a fillet of sole on the side. An athlete's foot is ideal, or you could try phalanges.

Right… it’s TOASTED cheese, it’s not roasted because it’s not done in an oven. It’s toasted because you call bread done under the grill toast. So you toast one side of the bread turn, cover the bread in cheese then grill the cheese till melty (one can add whatever ya like after that). However GRILLED cheese would be sandwiching with another slice of only one side done toast… confusingly a grilled cheese sandwich is usually called a toastie!!

I still say it’s toasted cheese!!!

I have spoken!!!!

Baking, toasting and roasting, all use hot air to cook food, so technically they're all the same method of cooking, and if you wanted to be revolutionary you could call it....

Baked cheese on bread.

"Cheese on toast

This is what I say.

It’s always implied that it’s toasted under the grill.

If it’s roasted then it would be done in the oven.

How is it implied? If you came to my house and asked for cheese on toast, the cold cheese would be put directly on the toast. Not toasted/grilled/melted.

Blah blah blah

Coz that’s what cheese on toast is.

It’s toasted under the grill until it melts

So it’s toasted cheese!

I rest my case! (Looks down top with hand down it and produces a hand with middle finger extended)

Ya fud! "
