Amaxing how many profiles have "Not meeting" in an aggressive fashion splattered all over them, and have done for ages, yet there are recent verifications on the profile detailing a meet! Makes me chuckle....

Some people arrange meets weeks in advance, some people only meet friends, some people are only on to chat to pals and meet on whim, even though they say otherwise...

We say in ours we're not meeting when we arent, change it when we're looking for a meet then change it right back afterwards. So even though the profile says 1 day we arent looking that may not have been the case the day before.

Doesnt seem to matter what you put though theres still some who think we'll drop everything to welcome their apparently magnificent cocks into our house when it suits them

Maybe just there to say they aint got time to meet normally but then a last minute babysitter etc came up and then they went out and chose someone to meet themselves.

100001 reasons… but at the end of their day, their profile, they can do as they wish

To me NOT MEETING means I don't want to have sex with you.

I may still meet regular playmates or have social meets with friends.

I may have enough (sexy/new) meets set up for weeks so I put NOT MEETING.

However I'm not offensive about it, being aggressive and SHOUTING about it doesn't help, it's ineffective against those annoying twats who still mail you anyway asking for a meet.

To be honest I couldnt care less what people put in their profile............. Not Meeting, VWE Black Men Only, Bi-Couples Only, Men Over 6ft Only, Slim Women Only... if you dont fit the requirements move on, equally if you think someone is being too aggressive move on... It really is as simple as that.

I always say it in the hope that the "hey babe meet now?" brigade stop messaging me and I can concentrate on meeting the sort of people I'm interested in and possibly arrange meets at some point down the line, but then I get reminded that hardly anyone reads or cares about what you have to say on your profile anyway.

So true. Mine has said "not meeting anyone new for now" for at least 4 months, but the amount of times I have been told what a brilliant profile I have beggars belief, lol.

It's pretty obvious that everyone has "a choice". To my mind it's a contradiction to blindly put not meeting but still have verifications for meets after that. But each to their own. And if it was the case of saying not meeting new folk, it must really hard to write those extra 2 words!

Not meeting is either what it says or a message limiting post. Either way respect it!!! I had a girl messaging me to meet. On her profile it said black men only to which I informed her I was not black , she said it was just to keep the idiots away from sending numerous Neanderthal messages.

You don't come across well in this thread, by the way. People can use his site for a number of reasons not just meeting for a shag on your demand. I have many good friends on here I love to keep up with, I already have people I meet regularly so not actively looking for new meets. Guess what, my choice and I couldn't care less if it bothers you.

Its a lot to do with that message being, introductory, informative, convey how you are, humour, and in no way pushy/reply or else, style.

No, sorry, i asked that genuinely wanting to know, bearing in mind, it is the system of communicating, introducing one another to each other etc, yet people quite often have this, "ohhh no i have messages sent to me" thing going on. Why?

You've signed up to swinging, declaring yourselves swingers on a swingers site and deary dear, messages from other swingers tends to happen. Too many messages? Click delete, messages that are just wrong? Block.

If you "have all the friends i need", yes, as the thread says, ping up a "not meeting", hide profile, or drive yerself nuts replying to each message saying "ehh im not meeting" yet again.

It shouldn't bother anyone else. But that wasn't what my original point was about. It was about contradictory information on people's profiles ie saying you are "not meeting"but then having a recent verification of a meet. I find this amusing

All i meant was, people are entitled to put anything on their profile, for whatever reason!!

For example, i got a msg from a lass who had 'no single males' on her profile asking me for a meet! When we met, i asked her why and she told me it cut down a lot of unwanted attention and gave her the chance to look for what she wanted!
