Some smells are worth missing. When walking round Asda and you see an old guy, who you know is going to burn your nostrils when you pass him. I’m glad of my face mask at that moment.

Smell and taste. Some I'd quite happily turn my nose up at and taste is a strange one too depending on what you're eating x

Having been without smell and taste since December, I van honestly say its not as easy as you think.

It's also not helped me drop any weight despite there being little pleasure in eating.

However I would say giving up taste but keeping smell would be far easier!

Smell and hearing would be perhaps the easiest to lose.....so safe from the crustie in Asda..

Would still like to see things, still want to taste food and still like to get about without the use of a stannah stairlift...

I wasn’t gonna comment on this because I don’t think losing any of your senses as though one is worth more that the other is a good topic. However with respect to the OP and also totally understanding both Sinders and Miss Muffs comments on smell and taste, I agree with Regina that these are the two I would choose to lose if I had to. The one I’d really hate to lose is sight as I feel losing that not only impacts the things I love to do most but also my independence … a kinda strange post OP but hey… that’s just my thoughts
