Hi everyone.

We are booked into CJ’s on the 30th but absolutely shocked at the prices of hotels in glasgow.

Anyone know any sites/apps that we may find normal prices. Booking . com is extortionate

I was just about to suggest the bloody obvious and say look further out but had a nosey and even the likes of hotels in North Lanarkshire are full.

Yip I work in hotels… mental how many hotels the government have bought over too .

Airbnb’s are about £3,000 a week too (for the worst ones) no joke

Thought we managed to get a hotel at a decent price for Saturday only to get an email tonight 'there has been a pricing error on your room if you wish to continue with your booking the price will be £×××' they want us to pay 6 times the original booking!! Seriously now that greed!

Similar to what someone else said you might be cheaper in the suburbs. I haven’t looked at prices but there’s a few in East Kilbride
