Anyone know a decent spot for camping as lochlomand has restrictions now ?

I know the weathers pish but am not going just now ! It was just a topic that came up last night in conversation 'how lochlomand was fucked cause of people leaving everything and trying to cut down trees for fires' was just putting it out there where's good to go

think it is only the east side ?? but not sure there is a map saying where can and cant camp which is a bummer that some neds ruined it

but as said lochearnhead is lovely but for good spots go from callander onwards round, lots of lovely wee spots xxxx

this is a bit like the doggers problem..

we Used to go camping in a very beautiful and remote Glen..

About 10 years ago you could go Naked and skinny dipping etc..

and it was rare if you ever got seen..

Nowadays its so busy you are almost guaranteed to get arrested etc..

Loads of great places to go up the Campsies. Head for Lennoxtown, then follow the signs for Fintry. That'll take you up and over the hills. Loads of lovely spots up that way.
