Right my problem is if I message someone with like this. Hi how's things u have a gd weekend? Not too sure what to write as I don't really know u yet. I suppose the initial thought counts. I've added a face pic so u know who ur chatting too. X

Is that an ok message or would people instantly delete?

Obviously everyone is different and while one message may appeal to one person may not to a other. Theres no need for you to say 'i dont know what to say as i dont know you yet' use your imagination and say something alittle different than the generic message.

What you put in your email has got to be totally personal to you,always make sure you fit the person/persons you are mailings criteria and if you don't then don't mail them .

Show a bit of your personality and say what you may be looking for too there is always someone out there for everyone.... good luck xxx

As others have said everyone's different. But I would delete that.. especially after this post which seems to suggest it's a copy and paste message that you send out to whoever you contact

I for one would look at your pic and delete right away. Think about it if you were in a bar and seen a woman you liked the look of would you just go up to her slap your cock out on the table/bar start to wank and say hi i like the look of you!

Tbh I always reply to every message an a think its fine what else you going to say cause you don't even no each other so if they don't reply mostly cause there no intrested

I'd delete. It doesn't show any hint that you have read my profile. A little more time to make every message fit the person you message works better. For instance would you say hello to someone age 20 the way you would to a person age 50? People prefer a 'personal' message, not something that looks like a 'copy and paste' if that makes any sense.

I'm sorry, but I think you have to use a wee bit of imagination when writing messages, and also personalise them to the profile you're writing to.

Sadly, if you're the unimaginative type, them you're going to struggle, bearing in mind that ladies can easily get 100 and more messages in a day!!

I've done that on a few occasions - normally I don't get a response after that! Lol!

Make sure you have read the profile & make some reference to it or some of the pics. The message you just wrote there looks very generic and could easily be a copy and paste job.

Take time about what you say. Personality will go a long way & don't assume that you should send a friends invite along with the email, for many this takes time to happen and only after chatting or meeting.

Other than that, don't take it too seriously, have fun & don't email cock pics straight away, we all know what they look like lol

I find that the best approach is always to read the profile first and send a personal message if you are interested in someone. Fab girls have an advanced radar for any "cut 'n paste" messages, so you will be wasting your time if you try to do that.

Also, if you don't get any replies or the girl isn't interested, then just accept it and move on. Don't do what some guys do and throw their toys out the pram! (A total turn off for most women).

One thing I have found on Fab is that everyone has completely different tastes, so each to their own - there's somebody here for everyone!

Just be patient and your luck will improve.

I personally dont see anything wrong with what you wrote I mean what else can you say to a complete stranger after all ....it's just my opinion but I would not judge someone and block on a first contact unless its a particularly rude one, I think its unrealistic to expect a first email to anything other than a tentative 'hello how are you' and to be fair Ive had some which seem written by a professional speech writer lol that puts me off a tad, bit too 'polished and prepared' ....I think what you said was fair enough and your profile is not like some on here bragging about what they can do etc.... just keep trying and be yourself someone will respond positively ....good luck

Think of your message like a job application. Would an employer give the job to someone who wrote a couple of lines, knew nothing of the potential employer and did not make the application relevant to it?

In other words, be true to yourself, show some kind of interest in that particular individual or couple, and make it somehow relevant to them and their profile (or perhaps to a post they have put up in the forum, something they have said in chat, or a pic they have posted, etc).

At least you can write in reasonable English, which is a start, although personally we treat messages slightly less seriously if they include textspeak like "u" and "gd".

However, others might have different ideas from us...
