Bangers: loud and proud

Jump to newest

Driving home and found myself turning the music up for two absolute bangers to then notice they are on the complete opposite ends of the music spectrum.

Got me thinking, name two songs from very different genres that always get you twisting the volume up & singing out loud n proud..

For me today:

Metallica : Whisky in a Jar

Sophie Ellis-Bextor : Crying at the Discotheque

I love blasting a banger in the car, can't beat a bit of Clubland or Tupac in the traffic....then I remember I'm a middle aged mum in a 7 seater with a peppa pig sun shade in the window

Edinburgh

Belle Perez - Hello World

ICP - Most of their stuff, but the cover of All The Way is a standout for me.

A lot of VERY heavy metal fans I know say that ICP is just a bit too extreme for them, but that's probably because of the Cult and Gang connections with them.

No no, you have misread the thread, it’s bangers on the opposite ends of the music genres that you turn up….not ones that describe me
