The new Scottish "comedy" show on Amazon Prime.

Has anyone given this a bash? I watched the first episode and if the goal was to make the most ridiculous and least funny TV show ever...they've absolutely nailed the brief.

In terms of format, I'd say they're going for something along the lines of Still Game meets Black Books but nowhere near as authentic or amusing as either of those shows.

The characters are instantly unlikeable. The first scene is basically 2 guys eating pie and beans for breakfast and drinking a can of Tennents cause he's Glaswegian. I think they want us to think it's funny for a guy to eat pie and beans even though he doesn't like beans but eats them anyway. That's the level of comedy they're aiming for.

Just watched the trailer on you tube. Talk about wooden , don't expect a series 2 , assuming they survive a full series 1.

Seen an ad for it somewhere. Just looking at the characters told me not to watch it. Trying too hard sprung to mind
