Having been on here for a number of years , I’ve recently noticed a surge on certain days for new profiles. Not sure if it is particular days that admin get around to approving , but seems to be a flurry of newbies all at once. Some for not very long. Anyone noticed an increase in new members lately?

Yes. Guess they joined to see what fab is all about. Some stay and some leave after finding it is not for them. Probably same with other sites too.
