Dad Bod

I have started going to the gym the last few months and lost a bit of weight so feeling good about myself.

Today I was talking to a female friend who said I now have a dad bod.

Was this a compliment or she telling me I still have work to do

You're probably best to ask her what she meant

I think it's different to everyone but, to me, a dad bod is someone who now has a wee bit of a belly, but still looks after himself, but but drinks too much beer and has a wee bit of a gut.

Not that it bothers me in the slightest, I'm full on chunky and would have no business commenting on anyone's weight xx

Totally agree, personality, charisma and sexyness needs both physical and personal connection, dad bod or ripped are coincidental to “the spark”

I would take it as a compliment, if she had said "hungry hungry hippo bod" that would be different
