Cooked myself a gammon steak today. While frying up the pineapple ring to go with it I suddenly fancied an egg too, so I decided to fry the egg in the middle of the pineapple ring !!!

Anyone ever done this? Is this normal?

Not a fan of gammon. Such a weird meat.. and I love all other pork... Fine with the pineapple too but that is a weird combo with egg tbh.

I had to go google this because I though eggs come out of a vagina !!

so i asked do eggs come out of a chickens bum? and, this ... "Yes, chickens have a common opening for reproduction, and for the evacuation of stools and urine. However, the hen will push her egg out by turning part of her cloaca and the last segment of the oviduct inside out in order to not contaminate the egg."

so, kinda, but also, not really !!!

It’s more normal than you might think but I’d much rather have my ham joint rubbed with coarse grained mustard and olive oil then honey glazed. Serve with peppers, red onion, carrots and sweet potatoes also roasted in seasoned olive oil and honey and I’m in food heaven

yeah, it really is. so the yoke kinda settled into the pineapple hole and the white spilled over the entire top of the pineapple and onto the pan too.

it all cooked up nicely though and a quick flip made sure all the egg was proper cooked up too.

Whisk up some yoke from you're meat and squirt evenly into some burds pineapple ring.

Any excess, just flip her over, give a bit of Ham shank and smooth ovenly over her tasty peachy Melba bum.

ive got to agree with the gammon or ham being cooked in the slow cooker then pulled is delicious never thought about adding pineapple to it but next time I make it

You know, I enjoyed my gammon, pineapple and egg combo so much the other day that I decided to take it to work and enjoy it there too.

The gammon was already cooked but with only a microwave at work for cooking in I couldn't fry the pineapple and egg ... But never mind, just take a slice of pineapple in a Tupperware box and crack the egg over it and micro for a min or so, then ... Eat it all together.

Not as good as frying it but still a taste sensation.

AMAZING!!!
