Just curious how common it is to see a profile on here and know the person from the pics ? Anyone happened to have this happen as I've never seen a profile and knew the person before fab

Here's a question... why is it so secretive to be on this website? People have their faces all over other apps for similar things like Tinder etc but it is considered normal. It's pretty shit that you have to avoid people who could be into the same things you are just because people will judge you for it. I wonder if it will ever be acceptable to the general population?

I'd suggest that tinder describes itself as a dating site primarily. There is still a lot of social unnaceptance of what "swinging" is. The definition varies but sex is the aim here not dating. That's just a sort simple answer is lots of debate over what fab/swinging is nowadays. For most folk it's not acceptable to either swap partners or have a "risque" sex life though, if that makes sense.

Ivan only compare it to my own experiences as a CD/TV at first it was hardly known about or seen ( 30-40 years back ) with the seventies glam rock lots of bands had flamboyant dressers some openly female clothing . Notably the video of the Queen single “ I want to break free “ came on the scene more folk dressed how they wanted to and more people accepted everyone is different . I’ve been out dressed sometimes no one bats an eyelid then others abuse shouted at me ,

So in a nutshell as time goes on maybe it’ll be more openly discussed and known about ( maybe not )

I guess depends on one of many things

Are you a social butterfly or a wallflower ?

Are you good with faces and names ?

Do you live in a small town or big city ?

How big is your workforce in your workplace ?

How extended is your family ?

How far do you travel for work/parties/events ?

Me personally have met way too many folk I know from the vanilla side of life on here than I can probably even remember, some it’s been a good laugh sharing experiences, giving support and encouragement and some simply it’s a case of block and move on

We know a guy from Edinburgh who went to after8 most weekends and he never bumped into anybody he knew in the club. One trip to cjs and he bumped into 2 people he knew in 1 night. Probably most likely to bump into somebody you know when you least expect it.

Strange situation just now. Been chatting to a lady of a couple who have face pics up. Out of curiosity I reverse searched them and it brought up a twitter profile.

Now I'm not sure if the pics have been stolen from the twitter profile or if it's the same person.

I spotted an old school friend on here, mainly as she was using the same pic she used on Facebook as her profile pic. We ended up teaming up as fwb and played as a couple for a year until her circumstances changed and she left the site. We still chat regularly and meet socially to this day. If anything meeting on here strengthened our friendship as it was nice to be open about our lifestyle to each other.

I went out with a girl a few years ago and I knew she'd been on here before I met her. Anyway we went our separate ways and I noticed she's still on,I found it horny knowing who she was even with no face pics.

Yeah this isn’t uncommon. Aberdeen is a small place, I’ve been sent messages by guys I know who obvs use the site to explore their sexuality on the quiet. I’ve never let on as I’m not an arse. Saw a mate on the cam chat who oddly was fwb with a woman who looked identical to my wife's best friend. It was all from a fab spam email that had a pic in it which was wife's friends spitting image.

I'd been flirting with my wife's friend and seeing what I thought was her I joined.

The pic linked to a profile of my mate and this woman (not the wife's friend) I found them in chat and got an eyeful of my mates efforts but it was a surreal experience.

Needless to say both have moved on and neither ever lead to anything but lips sealed...

I've recognised people on here but I've either never let on and kept my mouth shut, or I've told them who I am and we've agreed never to utter a word to others about our sexual behaviours.

To let on they know you but refuse to disclose who they are is a pathetic power trip. But to say they've spoken to you will require an admission that they're also on the site, and that's what stops many I suppose.

Guy messaged me last year saying he knew who I was but didn’t say who he was - I ignored it thinking he was a chancer

Fast forward to this year he does the same but gives more details (some right some not so) so I replied nicely saying it would be polite to introduce himself to me so we could chat openly to which he replied no worries you’re not that bonnie anyway and blocked me

I've been spotted by a few folk that know me .. one gut I've know since literally I was a wean .. an ex that I went with 20 years ago ended on friendly terms .. a guy who was one of my best friend's in my teenage years .. a lassie I used to play barbies with and an ex that I hated with a passion .. thing is theyre on here too so discretion assured and none have ever uttered a word likewise neither have I.. and a few other folk I know but not as well but we have deffo recognised .. we're all adults and should behave that way I say so no need for outing anyone xx

I saw my mates sister on here before. Just face pics though posted publicly, so clearly she was fine with people knowing she was on here.

As a photographer though I joined a model site and there was another mates sister with not a thread on and legs and lips spread for all to see.

I've seen quite a few in the 3 months I've been on here (I didn't realise my small town home had so many folk without the small town attitude!).

I've only been on here a short time but even I know that bringing it up would be awkward and unnecessary.

I won't block them in case we ever do decide to potentially meet but if they recognise me they can either block or contact me. I won't say anything, I'm sure they value their privacy as much as I do.
