Was chatting with someone the other day, who mentioned in conversation, about me being loud and popular. When actually im quite a shy person. and actually take a while to open up, Has anyone ever misread you, or presumed you to be a certain character, that just wasn't you.

Your forum persona and real life persona are not the same & I've found that with a few people.

Not sure what people think of me but I think I'm pretty much the same in real life as I am here on the forums

People also assume I'm English/Liverpudlian because of my scouse accent.

They're always surprised to find out I'm Scottish and only lived in England for 1/4 of my life

Yes.

I met my boyfriend on here. After our first meet he was told by a another lady he met that I was one of the 'undesirables' on here who basically had no standards.

To my knowledge I've never met the woman or even spoken to her.

Luckily he's the type to make up his own mind about people and didn't believe her. He knew I was nothing like she described, and we'll shortly celebrate our 4th anniversary

Yup, that's me too. Spent so many years of mental health issues (thankfully no longer a problem) that it got to the stage I forgot which mask I was hiding behind.
