I'm the same! I love heels, & have many pairs of gorgeous shoes, but after 18 months of not wearing them my calf muscles strongly object when I do!

I broke my leg years ago (not in heels) and after wearing trainers for so long while I healed I struggle wearing heels for any length of time.

Woman in heels many good things. Gives calves that sexy toned curve even beeter with seamed stockings

interesting angles for standing positions

In bed get for extra leverage.

I love them but I'm yet to make it home with a pair still on after a night out. I'm 'that' girl you see staggering down the street in bare feet, heels in hand

I used to be known as Teflon toes in my clubbing days, could cope with the gravel and knobbly bits. Not now, they're agony!!

I’ve now just bought wee flats that roll up in a purse for going out so still look nice when switching from heels. I have damaged ligaments in my right ankle so don’t tend to walk far in heels unless they have a strap. But love how I feel in them plus the height

When I’m wearing them they never lost all night. Always have a pair of flats in my bag for a swap over
