Was good not a bad performance but they definitely toned it down and that’s saying something

Watch a couple off podcast with the real jordan belfort

And the story’s he tells and says the movie is even toned down

Absolute screamer of a movie! How Di Caprio never got on Oscar for that I’ll never know. Such a laugh.

Margot Robbie allegedly insisted on doing the nude scenes although the directors said she could wear a robe.

She said her character used her body as ‘currency’ so it was essential she was nude to drive home that point. Not arguing

Absolutely love it, his acting is superb, plays the quite newbie very week at the start when gets his first wall street job, the scene with Mathew McConaughey is fantastic, was disappointed Mathew wasn't in the film for longer. Took me years to watch it as I thight it a film about trading sounded boring, ha ha how wrong was I

I find this can happen the other way round too, I love horrors but seen 28 days later in the cinema and couldn't stand it, couldn't find anything to watch about a year after and ended up putting it on and loved it.

Horrors though are generally much better in the cinema.

This is it toned down, bloody hell. That was some life to lead, a bit full on for me but can see the appeal.

Being Scorsese it’s long but an excellent watch

Here’s an interesting fact for you though;

Matthew McConnaghy’s chest beating scene in the restaurant was totally improvised. He was doing a vocal warm up. That’s why Di Caprio looks at the camera as if to say wtf? They decided to keep it in

Definitely the third most memorable scene in the film

American Psych is worth a watch too.. set in the same kind era as WOWS, but a completely different storyline, and it’s nothing to do with trading either

I've seen American phscho a few times, watched it last summer actually. Brilliant film and another brilliant actor, might watch the machinist again actually not seen that in years. He really put his body through it for that part.

I read the book first before the film was made..there was a lot more about the fallout and rehab he had to go through.

Theres always a comedown at the end of any wild ride.

Almost made it through the post without mentioning Margot Robbie...dam.
