So I'm thinking about shoving a copoun on for Italy to win 3-1. I do feel England have a strong squad and a goal in them but Italy have been more or less flying through the tournament and undefeated in 30+ games. I'm sensing they will slowly drain the game with a strong counter attack tonight.

Any fellow gamblers got any other predictions?

Aye quite possibly, both teams might end up playing very cautiously since it's the final, extra time then penalties would be madness haha. Will check the odds on that.

Definitely not writing England off. It's a cup final anything can happen but in my opinion Pickford is your weak link. He'll certainly need to be on his toes tonight to keep Italy out but again just my opinion.

As far as I can see any comments here have been to do with the form of both teams and nothing to do with independence (as it should be). May the best team on the night win and thanks for visiting the Scottish forum, have a lovely Sunday

Hopefully england win it. Always support the home nations of scotland wales england and NI. Have no idea why one would not. Itqly are in good form but so are england. They were unlucky not to make the world cup finals after losing out in the semi's.

Italy are over 2/1 with most bookies just to win the game so I'd say that's a better punt than trying to predict a score.

If Italy do what they do (and they do it effectively), then I can see them getting an early goal or two and killing the game off very early.

People think the Italians will slow it down, I think the opposite (until they get the lead).

Italy to score very early, and possibly win match by either 3-0 or maybe even 4-0. (All about the early goal or goals.)

Although I think Italy will win I got 80/1 on sky bet on Sterling assisting Kane to score and vice versa in 90 mins so if that happens and Italy still win I’ll be £120 up !!!!!

Scotland actually invented football not England. The first goal kick was done using a roman centurions head across the half way line that would later become Hadrians wall.

I don't quite get this "it's coming home". Is this to do with inventing football, or winning the first cup ever or something? As far as I'm aware England did neither, so not sure what it's about x
