One Way Conversations

I've been on here previously and back on five months and recently there seems to be a serious amount of people who reply to an initial message then proceed to reply with one or three word answers and have literally no chat just all one way conversation.

I'm really not seing the point in the first place of replying if your not going to make the effort to chat! Now before anyone says "it must be your rubbish chat" i've never had an issue with this up until recently on here but encountering it so much more with women. (not couples) Anyone else have similar problems?

One person said she was disappointed i failed her "test" which i think is pathetic when i said we'd leave things as the conversation was all one way. Is it a case of certain women toying/playing with guys or something else?

instead of moaning about it why dont you just take the hint and move on there will be someone intrested in your conversation just not those you are speaking to at the moment. sorry if it sounds harsh but these she wont he wont they wont threads come up way to often and most of the time the person just needs to look at themselves .............think i got out of bed on the wrong side this am

I like to think I make an effort when contacting potential meets or when potential meets contact me and i notice others dont put much effort into initial posts or replies, however, would you really want a meet where the conversation was difficult, slow and one sided as you put it? Neither would I! I'd put it down to experience and try and focus on someone who is interested in making an effort to give a good first impressions, good chat and banter and take it from there. Remember, this is supposed to be fun!

I will be honest and say I am guilty of this, I don't do it on purpose, but some scenarios can be, too many messages coming through at once, then there are the usual 'Hi, how are you?' ones (what are you meant to say that)

If a well drafted message is sent to me however, and has actually asked something of interest and keeps the conversation going, then I do always reply, if the conversation, starts to then feel like pulling teeth, then I give up.

You also have to take into consideration the amount of messages a single female (and couples) recieve, whilst most men are sitting avividly waiting on just one or two replies (I could be wrong of course)

Yep, I think you maybe did!!

These forums are for discussing things, if you aren't interested in a particular subject, then maybe YOU should move on.... to another one that does interest you!!

To the OP, yes, agree with you 100%, some women about here at the moment with some weird ideas! For a start, they obviously struggle with the concept of 'fun'. Their attitudes/actions strongly suggest that they're so far up their own whatsits!!!

The positive side is that we've probably had lucky escapes, and also while these silly women are 'testing' guys, there are other ladies who do answer our messages, chat, and in the near future, we're enjoying their company and having 'fun' with them.

you have to take peoples personal circumstances into account aswell, whilst your sitting waiting on a reply they might be at work or running after their kids etc.

at least they have replied, why dont you ask them why they are being short with you rather than assuming they arent interested.

There are too many assholes on this site who see a forum posted and feel the need to have a go at the OP for posting the topic. Too many males just do not read the profiles. Its easy to know if they have or have not and I simply send a short "NO THANKS" message or just delete if it is of no interest at all and its quite funny how many say they will be "in my area" yea yea

I couldn't agree with you more, but I think one of the problems is the old matter of swinging being different things to different people.

There's too many people on here who are wary of too much contact in case the other person gets the wrong idea/impression. It might help if folk were more honest about what they're wanting from a site like this!

But basically, and I can only speak about women, believe me some of them can be really hard work! And I've had several experiences of this just this week, including one I've already met!!

I couldn't agree with you more, but I think one of the problems is the old matter of swinging being different things to different people.

There's too many people on here who are wary of too much contact in case the other person gets the wrong idea/impression. It might help if folk were more honest about what they're wanting from a site like this!

But basically, and I can only speak about women, believe me some of them can be really hard work! And I've had several experiences of this just this week, including one I've already met!!

What annoys me more on here is if im busy or going through a few messages and give people a short reply they get abusive because im not talking much.

Another thing that bugs me is if you politely tell someone your not interested, they spam other messages going sorry if i offended, can we just chat over and over as if thats gonna increase their chances lol

Your right in your other post it does seem very clique. Think i'll just avoid the chat section of Fab, not really worth the hassle to be shot down for trying to ask a question.

Guilty as charged tbh I hate sending messages texti g back and forth I prefer real chat and have su many messages to reply to and no offence if you're chatting to someone do you really have a natural conversation that's

Ore than a few words back and forth the pre copied and pasted messages get to me
