In these trying financial times when some of us are brassic (skint) is there any item in your shopping basket that you do not compromise on even though there are cheaper options available? Personally no matter how skint I am I only ever buy Heinz Beans and Andrex toilet roll...(oo just realised there could be a connection)...anyway...do tell..xx

got to be barrs irn brew and robertson's five star ginger beer.

farmfoods sells hovis bread 2 for £1.50.

Jim warburtons has a bakery in bellshill industrial estae so think it is made in scotland lol.

and milk is a rip off at spar as a 2 ltr is about £1.65 and the same stuff is only £1 at farmfoods.and it all comes from wisemans.

"HEINZ TOMATO SAUCE!

Never eat the stuff myself but my youngest pours it on everything and I mean everything!!

BUT last time I bought Heinz tomato ketchup it was watery to hell was like soup so bought Sainsburys own brand stuff and was much better and stronger tomato taste as well.

Must be Heinz tomato soup tho nothing else compares and I have tried many over the years

Coca cola hubby wont drink anything but proper

Have always used velvet toilet paper hate the cheap stuff and andrex hurts me (poor wee sensitive me lol)

warbutons white bread

lurpack butter not that might if you eat it long enough taste a tiny bit like butter cos you are fooling yourself its not real butter stuff

proper kellogs cereal, altho my eldest kid says Asda cheap wheat bisks are better than the proper stuff!!

we are a bunch of fussy beggers in my house

i used to go into the coca cola plant at east kilbride once a month with my job.and everytime i got my van searched on the way out (tossers) just incase i had taken a bottle. not worth stealing anything as im not like that.

And guess what plant i had been too before the coca cola plant.the grants whiskey bottling plant in bellshill pmsl

the security used to give me the keys to where i wanted to get access to and i signed them back in when i was finished. and not once did i get searched.

so i drink irn brew or pepsi now .
