New to the U.K. Swing scene, any tips on how to start meeting people (not necessarily in person) on here?

Hmmm. Yes. And figure out the geography too. Google Maps is your friend.

I'd develop a thick skin for these Forums. Full of friendly, helpful and thoroughly charming individuals.

Op I could say lots of tips the problem is they are all relevant to me and my persona.

There are generally two types of folk on here.

Folk who are themselves and folk who pretend to be what they think others want. decide for yourself which catagory you want to be in and do that.

If ya wanna be a pretender your next step is a post along the lines.... Need help with my profile.

Hi & welcome to the UK.

The best way to start meeting is at socials that way there is no pressure on anyone other than just an introduction just to say hi .

If 121 maybe a coffee or drink meet .

Or once the restrictions lift more at a bigger organised social .

Good luck OP

Can I pretend to be a cat today and just sleep?
