I once heard that when we turn 40, country and western music becomes much more acceptable to us. I was extremely worried at the prospect but fortunately it didn't happen

Yip, love Brad Paisley, Alan Jackson, Travis Tritt etc.. Not a big fan of the more modern "Bro-Country" that's coming out recently though.

Love the old kinda stuff that my dad brought me up with, like Johnny Cash, Hank Williams etc. Modern country music isn't something I'm familiar with nowadays. Well, put it this way, the most recent country singer I'll sing along to is probably Shania Twain lmao!! Though, I have to say I absolutely ADORE her xx

I do like playing country music on the guitar. It’s not my usual but it’s still good.

I’m a big country fan, listen to it all the time in the car. Wife is not so thankfully I drive a lot with work

Anything from Johnny Cash to Maren Morris, and Luke Bryant, with some Miranda Lambert thrown in for good measure.

I think it’s evolved from my childhood of watching Dukes of Hazzard, Fall Guy and Knight Rider. Lots of country soundtracks on them. And resurrected itself in the past few years for me. Particularly the Daisy Dukes denim shorts and boots

Within my work of running Events & Exhibitions I have worked especially over in Ireland with lots of country music acts.

Irish TV used to really highlight all the old & new country music acts but closed down due to losing license.

You can now watch Country Music acts old & new upcoming acts on Spotlight TV on Channel 365 (Sky)
