Cannot accommodate - Cannot travel

I always wonder when I see a profile that says they cannot accommodate and cannot travel. How do the plan to meet. Do you need to go collect them? Is it a meet in their local area and do outdoor? It always makes me have a wee chuckle to myself.

You can't take anything on people's profiles litterally as it could mean anything.

Aberdeen

Won't travel outside local area, will meet at places that aren't home i.e. hotels, clubs, yours.

It's not tricky to work out.

Socialising and texting and will meet within a reasonable distance in hotels I imagine

I don't tend to assume anything but when my profile reads that it means I'm not really looking to meet or prefer to make my own arrangements.

To be fair, to add to the OPs point, I've had it where the person has required me to pick them up, and accommodate at mine, but that's not practical for me xx

I have can't accommodate or travel as I simply not meeting just now but would change it if this changes.

I wouldn't accommodate purely as I share my house with teenagers it's their home.

I can't (or won't) accommodate, and I won't travel, generally meaning local authority area distance only. Not literally won't leave my door to meet.

Yeah some people do like to take things particularly literally on here at times

When I first joined fabs I was a live-in au pair (nanny) in London so I actually had both settings cannot because I definitely wasn’t going to have anyone over in the house nor was I going to travel far! But then I made sure to explain the not travelling far in my profile .

So true, mine I think says Ireland and although I'm over there a fair bit I'm actually in the UK at the moment, just a lot of people I think on here are a lil paranoid of who there talking to online? Possibly a neighbour, family friend etc??? well that's my view on the reason anyway? Anybody else think the same, similar or something completely opposite?? Im interested to actually hear what people think and/or there reasons?
