I think it is fair to say that messages vary in there content.

Some you will ignore or block strait away

Some you may answer then leave

But what makes a good message.. and what makes you ignore a message?

Dickpics instant delete.

Someone that has attached a face pic gets a reply.

Someone that has read my profile gets a reply also.

Agreed.. But why are there so many "Dick Pics" in messages when you never see anyone enjoying them in a profile?

I always get a reply that most chicks ask for them.

Ehe..not this 1.

Total turn off for me as I do say it in my profile.

In all my time on this site over the years, I have only ever had one woman ask for a dick pic.

I was hob smacked but I did oblige

Other than that, I don't understand why guys send them either.

Do they think they can cast a spell over you if you look at their dick

Being what and whom I am, initial messages in my inbox are rare. 90% of those will be from guys, who, unless their message contains any kind of substance, I will either ignore or politely decline. Initial messages, out of the blue, from women or couples tend to have me on guard duty.

Any initial messages I send I do try to make relevant to the profile, display my humour and hope that it's matched within a reply. I do tend to vary my tone and content dependant on the person, but cheeky, witty banter back and forth with snippets of more serious, intellectual conversation and surreptitious, or often more obvious, flirting is my cup of tea.

I always reply to the message that makes me laugh

One that has effort put into it

The hey, hi, how’s you are are last

The arrogant ones delete

There is no rule to what makes a good bad or an indiffrent message.

In alot of instances there will be bias or even pre-determination based on lots of factors.

The dick pic thing is probably all about that person's need and I see it as no different to fems displaying their tits or fanny.

Guys often get a hard time about dick pics. which imo they are simply showing what they have to offer same as fems with tits n blurt pics.

Fems may view an ass or torso pic as appealing.I think alot of guys see their prowess in little Fred so that's what they show.

I usually answer messages unless I have complete distain for the sender.

Mmmm a bit of hypocrisy going on here, if someone messagees you with a plain hi, I bet you have a look at their profile before deleting.. and anyway what is up with a hi, hello or whatever, it is just an introduction FFS and something to build on and take further if wanted. To many profiles on here are up their own ass.

Short messages don't bother me as Iv always looked at the profile before I open the message.

Iv said it before if I was a guy on here is just send winks as most chicks have made up their mind with the profile 1st.

I always look at a profile before I open a message. Majority of the male profiles are basically one line, often "fill in later" and a couple of close up dick pics. If the profile shows total lack of effort I'm unlikely to even open the "hi" message & certainly won't take time to reply. If the profile shows effort, imagination and captures my interest, then even if it is just a "hi" message I might reply.

Ultimately it is the combination of a good profile and a polite & well thought out message that I am most likely to engage with.

I agree totally, and now becoming more like this, particularly if the profile picture has a dick in it it's now a delete right away, but what really irritates is the lack of reading profile and respecting it.

Just to be clear I’m not up my own ass!!

The hi hello are the last to catch my eye.... I will always reply to funny opening messages first. Yes agree it’s an opening in here for many but in my opinion the ones with more than hi hello how are you will not get as many replies as the ones with effort
