Just wondering what the obsession is with people on this site asking for social media details ie kik, snapchat etc. We prefer to keep this side of our lives private and not on display yet these days 3 out of 4 couples ask us for our snapchat usernames even though it says we dont use it on our profile then once you state that they disappear, anyone else experience this?

Personally I use Kik or Snapchat to show I am who I say I am( as I’m sure you are aware it’s not always the case ) I often also give my number out to prove I’m a single male as most married guys won’t provide they sort of details. But that’s just me. Can’t comment on why others do it

We totally understand that people arent always who they say they are but we do have pics and verifications on our profile and we are always happy to send a phone number when meeting so dont understand the need for social media to be given out at all, maybe just us

If you don’t like it that’s totally fine. This site is all about doing only what you feel comfortable doing. I’ve met people before who didn’t want to give it out and we had a great evening. Just do what you are comfortable with

Too many fakes on the site and its the quickest and easiest way to verify someone is genuine, kik and Snapchat for me isn't social media, I wouldnt give someone my Facebook (when I used it) both of the former can be kept private or set up a new Snapchat just for people from fab.

If youre not willing to send a Live pic them most people will assume you're not genuine

I'll only ever give out my Kik to a guy if I truly feel comfortable doing so and that the conversation is going well. I'd never give out my what's app as that's for friends I've known longer and outside of fab x

We would happily set one up to chat to someone if we have been chatting for a while but we get the "whats your snapchat" message after a few messages

we understand that there are a lot of fakes but we would happily verify on cam on this site rather than make snapchat account, its far easier to be a fake on snapchat than cams

I avoid those people too tbh, they are usually looking for pics and not interested in anything more

I have never used cams on here I chat and if im interested then would move to kik as thats what I use mostly

yeah we have been considering having a kik account setup for this as it seems easier to chat to people but we wont be handing it out straight t away which unfortunately seems to be expected from a lot of people these days

If someone from fab wants to chat to me then we chat on here. The only fab members I chat to on other platforms are ones I have met in person and consider to be friends.
