Looking for some ideas folks. Dont wanna just rock up some where and get moved along . Any ideas would be greatfull thanks ??

If the ferries are on I’d recommend touring the inner Hebrides, beautiful spots

Over there

Argyll is full of quieter spots in my experience, seems more folk head north to big mountains.

the abyss

I don't think the islands will be an option that early in April. I would also be careful with some areas on north west (NC500) etc as there are some areas that will not be welcoming tourists when we are still being asked to 'stay local'.

My parents car died last year and thought no point in replacing yet with hardly going out so they are using their wee camper. Some of the looks they get are less than favourable with people thinking they are holiday makers

I echo the above it's too early unless campsites are open then locals will not welcome unnecessary traffic, don't want to spoil it for everyone when things do open up, it's hard enough for the remote areas, we need to be patient and mindful.

I missed the April date when I first read.

I would agree with waiting for the appropriate time.

Just make sure you stay away from the St A's students. Covid is rampant in the halls right now.

Granton on Spey is a lovely site, close enough to walk into the town, but on the edge of the countryside. Years since I was on, but there was a nice walk along the old railway.

Try the NE250 route. Beautiful

I will just need to settle for an ice cream at Janetta's instead.

Thanks for the advice
