Hey retro is good with me I got the game boy emulator for my galaxy note and now have every gameboy game ready to go...though most are complete s?&t tbh. Wow games have came so far since piles of crap like some off those old games where considered entertainment.

I have my old gameboy that I've had for knocking on 20 years, still works and got the super gameboy to play the games on the snes. Zelda on the gameboy is a fantastic game, still counts as entertaining

And who made you the decider for what is mature or not, fact the computer games industry is geared towards adults we know this because 70% of major releases are for over 18s wow what ignorance, I would never expect this from an "open minded" swingers site and for what its worth I regularly attend the gym, its pathetic to lable every one who plays games as with the lazy no hoper brush as if need to go cycling... Id much rather play a mmorpg with a good cpl of mates!!!!!!

The games are made on PC's then dumbed down so they can work on the console. Then greedy game developers port them back onto the PC without any improvements giving pc gamers poor games

But if you can find a pc game that the developers allow modding to be done, then the modding community for the pc will make the game 100 times better.

Depends what game your talking about regarding mods.

I can guess its a FPS game that your referring to. Its not the modding community that make cheats. If you look at CoD MW 2, Infinity ward chose not to release mod tools for that, yet that had even more cheaters than CoD4 which is the most successful modded FPS game to date, which is still being played at a very high competitive level.

If you look at games like skyrim or dragon age, then you will actually see the modding community mod the game to a level that a console just couldnt handle.

ps3 for me . Had an xbox and halo with a few other games but just couldnt get into it , the wee avatars were a bit childish for me , i found the controller a tad on the awkward side at first but its ok once you get used to it . The online play..... depends what games you play it was ok but not great . The ps3 in my opnion is the better console does a lot more as mentioned blue ray dvd ,internet etc etc i just find it easier to use and the online gamepley a bit better . As far as COD goes cant stand it ! someone was talking about a level playing field , you just dont get it on there anymkore everyone is so desperate to rack up the kils its been hacked to shit and isnt really worth playing anymore . Was fun especially the mw2 but as your not getting a chance its just turned into utter mince . Oh and yes i a complete gamer geek lol

oh the spectrum ...my first love !!! putting tapes in ans waiting for ages in anticipation as it slowly loaded up so i could ghet that bright red square round the maze and deliver the presents to the kids . Cant mind what the game was but it was great , then the master system which was a major step up in gaming lol

I'm a gamer, at heart..though not really for the last few years.Its an art form just like music and entertainment.I barely watch much TV, but I'd rather play a game than watch half of the dross, much of that aimed at the female persuasion..yet many of them will sit slag of gamers..pointing out its unreality..but are happy to sit and watch something as pish as eastenders etc that has absolutely no interaction whatsoever...now THATS pathetic.Saying its for kids also..I laugh at that..especially when a grown adult can be beat by a 5yr old who shows more awareness and manual dexterity than they ever could.Lets not forget that the military,and plane pilots use virtual space simulators to train for REAL life.

ps3 or xbox?-either...but leave it to nintendo to make the best games(come on seriously 3d gaming..MARIO64..genius programming absolutely perfect camera/precision analogue joystick...and ppl raved about how tombraider was better..TWATS!-cos mario was 'cartoony and babyish' ..the most innovative games...and thankfully with the 3ds,the new nintendo Wii U, they are upping their hardware specs(along with some truly innovative hardware)-the Ps3 and xbox...have only really won the gaming wars by effectively copying nintendo..of course being less greedy than nintendo(they have control issues...remember, nintendo and sony would probably be the same company, if they had made the proposed CD system that nintendo didnt want(piracy issues).

anyway, those interested in gaming check out the Wii U trailers.

Must admit the wii is my fave and the Nintendo snes and 64 I've got most games consoles even have not one but two dream casts they are amazing prices of equiptment and the copied games were easy to do got all the accessories too the crap I got up my loft is unbelievable

I would also rather play a bit of ps3 of an evening than blankly watch the bland programming afforded me through my freeview tv. My ps3 sits proudly between my n64 & snes under the tv. All still in good working order & no matter what games are on the newer consoles, you can't beat a game of bomberman with 3 friends on the snes. Just recently discovered a couple of my old gameboy games at my parents house too, micromachines!! Happy times :D

By the by, my first gaming experience was jetpac on a bbc microcomputer my uncle gave me in the 80's. It all happened on one screen & I would play it for hours.

Amiga CD32, best games console of 1993, a true standalone 32 bit CD based games console which was the second CD-based games console released, beaten only by the FM Towns Marty. Could happily play, with addition of a floppy drive/hard drive add on any of the Amiga games available for the AGA chipset found in A1200's and A4000's, along with compatible games for OCS and ECS chipsets of previous Amiga units. Had it not been for poor marketing decisions of the parent company Commodore, chances are, either Playstation or Xbox wouldn't have become a market leader.
